The Artist's Studio

I believe in time travel. That the present can effect the past. Where does the past exist if not as an experience of memory and imagination? A story we tell ourselves.
By revisiting documents of the past and altering them – I am changing history’s narrative and messing with a linear notion of time.

Picasso, one of history’s great image makers, has been a hero of mine since I was a boy. A fearless improvisor – a conjurer of strange creatures and new representations of the world.

This series is a homage to his cartoonesque legacy.
